Is there possibility that get infected with the new coronavirus by going to see the pageant?

A3. When the pageant is held, we will establish guidelines for the prevention of new coronavirus infection so that visitors can see it safely, and take measures to prevent infection.

However, even if we try to hold the event in accordance with the guidelines and infection control measures with the understanding and cooperation of not only the organizer but also the visitors, it is currently difficult to completely eliminate the risk of infection. For this reason, we believe that those who are concerned about the new coronavirus infection should refrain from visiting the venue.

A4. The presence of pink light bulbs is not known to the SENDAI Pageant of Starlight Executive Committee either.


Q5. 一般の駐車場はありますか?また、どこにありますか?

Is there a general parking lot? Where is it?

A5. There is no parking lot. Please use the nearby pay parking lots.


Q6. 観光バスの駐車場はありますか?

Is there a parking lot for sightseeing buses?

A6. Please use the Sendai Aobayama Community Square (parking lot for large buses).

* Since the Sendai Aobayama Community Square is a coin parking lot, reservations cannot be made.


* General vehicles cannot be used.

Q7. 雨や雪が降っても、イベントは実施しますか?

Will the event be held even if it rains or snows?

A7. Unless it is unavoidable due to a disaster or something unexpected, the illuminations will be lit even in stormy weather. Each event may be canceled due to the weather, so we will inform you on the website each time there is a possibility.


Q8. 車いすを借りることは出来ますか?

Can I rent a wheelchair?

A8. It is not available at the SENDAI Pageant of Starlight Executive Committee.


Q9. 車いすで使用できる多目的トイレはありますか?

Is there a multipurpose toilet that can be used in a wheelchair?

A9. Located at Tokyo Electron Hall Miyagi, Sendai Mediatheque,TOHK net hall, El Park Sendai, and War Reconstruction Memorial Hall.

Q11. サンタの森の物語の募集はいつから行いますか?

Precautions to be taken to prevent the spread of infection



In order to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, please keep the following points in mind when attending events and dining together.


  • 体調が悪い場合は、イベントや会食に参加しないこと。

If you are not feeling well, do not attend events and refrain from dining together.


  • 密閉・密集・密接が発生しやすい場所や基本的な感染防止対策が徹底されていないイベントや会食への参加を控えること。特に、多数の人が密集し、かつ、大声等の発生を伴う行事、パーティー等への参加は控えること。

Refrain from participating in events and from dining in places where conditions such as closed spaces, crowding and close-contact setting are likely, or where basic infection prevention measures are not thoroughly implemented. In particular, refrain from participating in events or parties where large numbers of people are crowded together and where people are talking loudly.


  • イベントや会食の参加に当たっては、適切な対人距離の確保、手指消毒、マスクの着用、大声での会話の自粛など、適切な感染防止策を徹底すること。

When participating in events and dining together, ensure that appropriate infection measures are taken, such as keeping an appropriate distance from other people, sanitizing your hands and fingers, wearing makes, and refraining from talking loudly.


  • 街頭や飲食店での大量または深夜にわたる飲酒や、飲酒しての行事への参加は、その行事の宗教的・文化的特性を踏まえつつ、なるべく自粛すること。

Refrain as much as possible from participating in events on the streets or in restaurants that involve consuming alcohol in larger quantities or late at night, while talking into consideration the religious and cultural characteristics of such events.


  • 必要に応じて、家族で自宅で過ごす、オンラインのイベントに参加するなどの新しい楽しみ方を検討すること。

Consider new ways of enjoying yourself, such as spending time at home with your family or participating in online events, depending on your needs.


  • 新型コロナウイルス感染症に感染したと疑われる場合で、医療機関への受診等に関して疑問等がある場合には、居住する自治体の相談窓口等に電話すること。
